Kompozity na bázi skleněných vláken - bioaplikace
Balík, Karel ; Sochor, M. ; Suchý, Tomáš ; Sedláček, R. ; Černý, Martin ; Hulejová, H. ; Pešáková, V.
Mechanical and biochemical properties of composites based on glass and polysiloxanes.
Fyziologické důsledky iontově-koncentračních změn v tubulárním systému srdečních buněk
Pásek, Michal ; Christé, G. ; Šimurda, J.
Experimental data related to the tubular system of guinea pig and rat ventricular cell were summarized and incorporated into quantitative models of cellular activity. The results of simulations suggest that activity-dependent depletion of Ca2+ within the t-tubule lumen lowers the intracellular Ca load, intracellular Ca2+ transients and hence the inotropic status of ventricular myocytes.
Napjatostní analýza keramické hlavice kyčelní endoprotézy s reálnými tvarovými odchylkami
Fuis, Vladimír
The paper deals with the problems of ceramic head of hip joint endoprosthesis destructions, and with assessing the impact of shape deflections of conical surfaces on the probability of this failure. Concerned are shape deflections from the ideal conical surfaces of the stem and the head of the endoprosthesis, which - when the head is put on the stem and the endoprosthesis loaded - form a contact configuration.
Biologická aplikace nevratné termodynamiky - kardiovaskulární systém člověka a remodelace kostí
Maršík, František ; Převorovská, Světlana
The paper deals with irreversible thermodynamics of open systems which offers a new concept for description of real material objects including the living systems. The biological application of this theory is demonstrated by the numerical hemodynamical model of the human cardiovascular system and by the biomechanical model of the bone remodeling.
